SDWP Organizes the Development of Publicity Activity for Public Welfare Themed “Building a Civilized City and Striving to Be a Civilized Citizen”

May 6th, Shandong Water Conservancy Construction Group organized volunteers to take part in the publicity activity for public welfare themed “Building a Civilized City and Striving to Be a Civilized Citizen” in order to build a civilized city.
The volunteers issued an initial written proposal entitled, Creating a National Civilized City, the Responsibilities Shall be Shoulders between You and Me to the citizens, which encourages the vast citizens to standardizeindividual words and deeds, protect urban environment voluntarily and enhance the awareness of “civilized travel” in practice by talking courteously, behavingin a civilized manner and doing a civilized person’s deeds. During the publicity process, the volunteers introduced to citizens that uncivilized behaviors mainly include motor vehicles’scrambling with pedestrians, throwing objects from car windows, disorder parking of vehicles, pedestrians’ climbing over guardrails and other behaviors going against public traffic order; no voluntary queuing, making noise or smoking in public places, and more other behaviors disturbing the public order. These ubiquitous social phenomena have a strong impact on the order of city environment and affected citizens’ life, so every citizen shall go into action to combat these phenomena. According to the data collected, the volunteers issued more than 300 initial written proposals altogether during this activity.
Shandong Water Conservancy Construction Group has been taking the initiative to shoulder social responsibilities and actively participating in civilization promotion all the time.The group company has been adhering to the services for the masses and the practices of socialist core values and has been assuming as its mission to “construct water conservatory works and harness water to maintain our motherland prosperous andpeopleat peace; add value and increase efficiency to benefit the society”. Combining the promotion of civilized behaviors and the improvement of corporate work efficiency, it makes important contributions to the building of harmonious city and national civilized city.
