March 22 is the “World Water Day”. To improve the awareness of water saving and water protection of the Group Company’s cadres and staff, enrich their knowledge structure, and enhance teamwork ability, Shandong Water Conservancy Construction Group Co., Ltd launched the “World Water Day” and “China Water Week” topic knowledge contest.
The signing ceremony of “implementing national water conservation actions and building a water-saving society” was first carried out. Then knowledge contest was organized around the topic, and contestants selected from each branch company and logistics department participated in answering questions. Each participating team was full of vigor and confidence. During the question-and-answer session, everyone learned the related knowledge of water conservancy, and reviewed the course of the enterprise development in relation to water conservancy. The activity site attracted many employees to watch as audience with interactive participation.
In order to thoroughly implement the publicity and education activities of the “World Water Day” and “China Water Week”, Shandong Water Conservancy Construction Group actively developed a program of activities and published thematic publicity slogans to introduce the status of water resources in China and the significance of water conservation, tips for household water saving and main points and methods of water resource protection to the general public, creating a good atmosphere of “saving water beginning from me”.
Through this activity, the staff and workers got a deeper understanding of the current situation of water shortage in our country and were guided to cultivate the habit of saving water, cherishing water, and scientific use of water, so that more and more people can become the fuglemen of water-saving and water environment protection.
